Driving Directions from the South to Old Orchard Beach, Maine

Route 95 is the highway that will bring you into Maine from points south. Route 95 can be accessed from the Massachusetts turnpike east via Route 495 or Route 93.

Heading north from Massachusetts, stay on Route 95 through New Hampshire and into Maine. Route 95 is the Maine Turnpike. Take Exit 36 (formerly exit 5) off the turnpike (Saco/Old Orchard Beach). For further directions, review the "within OOB" Directions.

Tolls:Tolls are collected at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire ($1.00) and York, Maine ($1.75)

Driving Time:Driving time from the Boston, MA area to Old Orchard Beach is approximately 90 minutes

Summer Traffic Alert:Due to the heavy inflow of traffic to Maine on summer weekends, it is best to avoid travel on Friday afternoon/early evenings. There is also occasional Maine turnpike construction underway which can close come lanes during the overnight hours, although delays should be at a minimum
